About lightwell+c0

Lightwell + Co. began with a simple belief: the most meaningful lives aren't built in extraordinary moments…they're shaped by the small, intentional choices we make every day.

The name itself is inspired by the architectural purpose of a lightwell: a space designed to bring natural light into places it otherwise couldn't reach. That idea has become the heart of everything we create.

Lightwell + Co. is a creative studio dedicated to curating meaningful experiences and thoughtfully crafted goods that inspire intentional living. From movement and mindfulness to artwork, gatherings, and seasonal collections, each offering is designed with one hope in mind—to help you reconnect with yourself, with others, and with the beauty already woven into everyday life.

Whether you're stepping onto the mat at Lightwell Studio, exploring a collection from Wild Heart Studio, gathering with loved ones through Gather Well, or bringing home something from Golden Thread Apiary, every experience is thoughtfully created to invite a little more presence, joy, wonder, and connection into your life.

We believe a meaningful life isn't found. It's cultivated, one intentional choice, one shared experience, and one ordinary moment at a time.

Welcome to Lightwell + Co.

We're so glad you're here. We hope you'll stay awhile.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Jaimie.

I’m a mom, a teacher, a writer, an artist, a beekeeper, a yoga and Pilates instructor, and someone who has spent most of her adult life working in public safety and leadership.

Which, admittedly, is a slightly chaotic answer to “So, what do you do?”

But it’s also probably the best way to explain how Lightwell+Co came to be.

I’ve always been curious. I love learning something new and then getting my hands into it. I love understanding how things work. I love teaching and bringing people together. I can be incredibly structured and disciplined, and then lose an entire afternoon painting something simply because I had an idea I needed to get out.

Movement found its way into my life through yoga, and eventually Pilates, and somewhere along the way it became about so much more than exercise. I fell in love with what happens when we challenge ourselves physically—the patience it requires, the confidence we build, the conversations we have with ourselves when something gets hard.

Writing has given me another place to work through life. Painting gave me permission to create without needing everything to have a purpose. Beekeeping taught me an entirely different kind of patience. Teaching continues to remind me how much I love watching someone realize they’re capable of something they weren’t sure they could do.

And being a mom has probably taught me more about life than all of it combined.

None of these things happened because I was trying to build a brand.

They were just my life.

For a long time, I thought they were separate pieces of me. My career went over here. Yoga went over there. Writing was something else. Art was another thing entirely.

Lightwell started when I realized I didn’t actually want to separate them anymore.

Because underneath all of them is the same thing: I really love being alive and participating unapologetically in my own life. Trying things. Making things. Moving my body. Getting curious. Changing my mind. Working hard. Starting over. Finding joy in places I wasn't necessarily looking for it.

That’s what I want Lightwell to have room for, too.

Yes, we’ll practice yoga and Pilates here. But Lightwell isn’t a yoga and Pilates brand. There will be movement and art, writing and workshops, experiences, gatherings, things made by hand, collaborations, conversations, and ideas that probably haven’t occurred to me yet.

I want it to be a place where we can be curious about our own lives.

Where getting stronger can matter. Making something just because you want to can matter. Sitting around a table with good people can matter. Trying something you've never done before can matter.

Maybe that’s my version of wellness.

Not endlessly trying to become a better version of yourself.

Actually being here for the life you’re already living—and having some fun creating what comes next.

So that’s me. And, in a lot of ways, that’s Lightwell.

A whole bunch of seemingly unrelated things that somehow make perfect sense together.

I’m really glad you’re here.

Jaimie
